Scope: Renovations and addition to Pre-K – 6 independent school to provide two elementary science classrooms, three middle school science lab/classrooms, student project spaces, prep and storage spaces, and a science “commons.”

Elementary Science Suite

Elementary Science Suite

Two science classrooms with a shared prep and storage space serve as the elementary science suite at Orchard.  One room is designed for students in grades K-2 and the second for grades 3-5.

Middle School Science Suite

The layout shown above represents a typical pair of adjacent middle school science lab/classrooms at Orchard.  The two classrooms share a small group space in which teams of students can meet to plan and/or work on individual projects.
